FAQs

Does Cardinal Family Chiropractic accept insurance?

We are not in network with any insurance companies. Insurance companies are often restrictive in the type and quantity of care you are able to receive. By doing this Dr. Lexi is able to offer you the best quality of care at our most affordable prices!

For payment we accept cash, all major credit and debit cards, checks, and HSA & FSA cards.

Is Chiropractic safe for babies and kids?

Chiropractic care is a very safe and gentle approach to pediatric health and wellness. Chiropractic adjustments of infants are very different than that of adults. During an infant adjustment Dr. Lexi uses light sustained pressure (no greater than that used to check for a ripe tomato). There is no 'popping' or 'cracking involved. As your little one grows the techniques used will evolve, but will always be gentle and follow you and your child's comfortability!

Is chiropractic care safe for pregnant women?

Pregnant women can have some of the best relief of anyone from chiropractic care. Dr. Lexi is Webster Certified, which is a specific technique used for pregnant women to ensure comfort and balancing of their evolving bodies. She takes a very thorough examination & health history before treatment to ensure your safety, and checks in with you every visit to make sure your pregnancy is continuing to progress smoothly and healthily. She has special pillows to support and comfort your bump while laying down on the table.

Will I get adjusted on the first visit?

At your first visit Dr. Lexi will take a thorough health history and examination to ensure that it is safe to proceed with treatment. Unless the doctor determines that you require a referral to another specialist or for further imaging, yes you will get adjusted on your first appointment.

What conditions can Chiropractic care help me with?

Regular Chiropractic care can help with a wide range of conditions. As you get adjusted and we relieve the tension and stress in your nervous system, you can commonly get relief with back pain, neck pain, headaches, migraines, sciatica, carpal tunnel, and sports injuries. Regular care can also help with stress management, sleep, immune response, posture, and much more!

How long will it take to see results from care?

The time it takes to see results from chiropractic care can vary depending on the individual and the condition being treated. Some people may experience immediate relief, while others may take several visits before noticing significant improvements. Dr. Lexi monitors your progress as you go through your care plan, and will adapt it as needed to ensure you receive the most relief possible.
